The dummyThirdParty tree builds libraries which are drop-in
(but non-functional) versions of some thirdparty libraries. This will
make it easier to ship binary versions without having to ship thirdparty packs.
In case of differing pointsInstance and facesInstance it will
- read the points belonging to the facesInstance
- construct and write the mesh belonging to the facesInstance
(so with the old, facesInstance, points)
- additionally write the current points to pointsInstance
- in preparation for adding an optional '-reconstruct' to a few utilities
re-use as -lreconstruct library
- move related stuff there too
src/decompositionMethods/decompositionMethods
-> src/parallel/decompositionMethods
- added missing namespace qualifiers
- explicitly remove any previously decomposed 'mut' and 'nut' when
decomposing fields since they can otherwise prevent the turbulence model
from being upgraded properly.
Removing all decomposed fields first might be a better idea in the
long-term, but would probably be slower.
- objectRegistry gets a rename() that also adjusts the dbDir
- cloud reworked to use static variables subInstance and defaultName.
This avoids writing "lagrangian" everywhere
string fixes
- avoid masking of std::string::replace in string.H
- avoid old strstream in PV3FoamReader
- change system/controlDict to use functions {..} instead of functions (..);
* This is internally more efficient
- fixed formatting of system/controlDict functions entry
- pedantic change: use 'return 0' instead of 'return(0)' in the applications,
since return is a C/C++ keyword, not a function.
- removed the previously added fileName type(), isDir(), isFile() methods.
- added optional bool parameter to isFile() function to explicitly
enable/disable the check for gzip files.
- fixed minor bugginess where the default usage of isFile() would result in
false positive matches.
- be slightly more stringent and use isDir() and isFile() instead of
exists() function when we actually know the expected type.
